Mother Nature's Son by The Beatles | acoustic
An acoustic guitar lesson on how to play "Mother Nature's Son" by The Beatles_Paul McCartney.
The classic Beatles song from the White Album. Another finger picking song by Paul McCartney that was influenced by the finger style playing of Donovan when they were in India. Paul wrote this after attending a lecture by the Maharishi where he talked about everyone being a child of nature. After the same lecture, John wound up writing a song which at the time was called "Child Of Nature." After being rejected for the White Album, that song was re-written and became the excellent "Jealous Guy" which appeared on John's 1970 solo album Imagine. This is played with just the thumb and first finger which uses the pinch/strum technique that Paul is famous for. It was recorded on August 9th, 1968. According to Wikipedia, he did 25 takes of the song playing guitar and singing live. Take 24 was considered the best one and was the take used for the album. I hope you enjoy playing this great tune.
