An acoustic guitar lesson on how to play the live solo to “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac featuring Lindsey Buckingham.
I did a lesson on "Landslide" a while back and had a lot of requests to do the live solo so here it is. If you're playing this on your own or are the only guitarist this solo fits in beautifully. This is such a great solo! Lindsey Buckingham makes it look easy, but it's actually quite tricky to play! The biggest thing here is that you are playing a melody while maintaining the travis pick which leads to all sorts of cool variations and sounds. It's very disciplined playing and will take most guys a while to get down, but once you do, it really sounds amazing and is a lot of fun to play. Keeping the meter is also key to making this sound good and is one thing that Lindsey Buckingham is really good at, his travis pick is like a metronome!
