I’ve always loved this song, but have always loved the guitar solo more! It wasn’t until Glenn Frey’s passing that I discovered that he was the one that played the solo. I always thought it was Don Felder. Anyways, it’s a great solo. It may not be too technically challenging, other than getting the bends in tune, but it’s played with such great feel and soul. If you aren’t feeling it when you play it, it just won’t sound good! I really enjoyed working on this song, it has such a great groove… I hope you find the lesson useful and have fun playing this great solo. Cheers Andy |
