Feel Your Love Tonight by Van Halen | rhythm & solo
An electric guitar lesson on how to play the rhythm, fills and solo to parts to "Feel Your Love Tonight" by Van Halen from their 1978 debut self titled album.
I remember when this record came out. I had to keep listening to it over and over because I couldn't believe what I was hearing. In fact I was convinced that it wasn't a guitar that was doing what we all know as those tapping parts, but some kind of keyboard. I'd never heard anything like it, it was mind blowing. I think every guitar player in the world was either inspired like never before, or immediately broke into a cold sweat and deep depression, because from that day on, rock guitar was never the same. Although there is no tapping on this solo, it's still an amazing bit of guitar playing. Eddie was doing the same old bluesy pentatonic type licks, but at lightening speed. He is truly an amazing guitar player. I hope you enjoy this lesson. Cheers Andy |
